Pre-Production
- OrangeWave will meet with you
- OrangeWave will begin developing how the ideas will play out in a video.
- Create a script and a shot list
- Create a videoboard utilizing some stock video, graphics and music to help visualize the tone and pace of the video. You can see some examples of before & after videoboards below.
Videoboard Examples
Client: Marves Industries
|
|
After meeting with Marves we decided not to do a voiceover in their overview video, so we started by coming up with a general idea of how we wanted to tell the story here. On the left you'll find the videoboard. This is all stock video clips we used to get a feel for styles and how the text would be displayed. We also figured out some of the pacing for the video early on which helped us be more efficient on our production days.
Client: The Jar Community Church
|
|
After we met with The Jar's marketing team, OrangeWave came up with a voiceover script, recorded that and found some music that fit the tone of the message. We knew we wanted the story to center around everyday people doing everyday things so we found stock videos showing that. This videoboard inspired the pacing, tone, the slow motion feel and even some of the ideas for framing the shots.
